My Journey Into Website Design:

My name is Muhammad Asif, and I’m the founder of GeniqSoft. I design and build modern, high-end websites for startups, SaaS companies, and growing businesses that want more than just a template site. I started as a software engineer, completed my master’s in project management, and spent years freelancing as a web designer and developer. That journey gave me two strengths:

Technical expertise → I can design in Figma and develop across platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Framer).
Business understanding → I know that a website is not just about code or design, it’s about conversions, growth, and trust.

From Freelancing to Founding GeniqSoft

I didn’t start out thinking I’d one day run my own company. What drew me in was the freedom and creativity that came with freelancing full-time. I loved working with clients across different industries, solving unique problems, and learning how each business grows through design and technology.

This freelancing experience eventually grew into GeniqSoft, a design and development venture focused on creating websites that actually work for businesses — not just look nice on a screen.

Why Remote Work Shaped My Career

One thing that truly changed my career path was discovering the power of working remotely. Being able to work from anywhere — whether a coffee shop in the city or outdoors in nature — gave me the freedom to focus on creativity while staying connected with clients worldwide.

This lifestyle showed me that building a global career wasn’t about being in one location. It was about delivering high-quality results, no matter where I was. That mindset is what allowed me to scale from freelancing into becoming a founder.
